Celebrities Seconded

This article is barely more than a trivia list of celebrities. In addition, there's a bulleted list and another paragraph above listing yet more names -- some of which are duplicated. There is very little other info in the article about the actual hospital. The article is little more that gossip. Needs a lot of work

This article has the following problems:

1) As stated above, the article does little more than list all the celebrities who have received care there. This is not relevant or important. A blurb stating that many celebrities have received care at Cedars-Sinai would be more than enough...perhaps you could list two or three. But that's all that's needed.

2) There is little important information about the hospital, and what little substance is there, is not cited well. Additional inline citations, along with additional, verifiable sources, are needed.

3) The article, in its current state, is also not much more than an advertisement for the hospital (albeit a very poor one).

4) Without sufficent citations, it appears that much of the article is based on original research, which violates Wikipedia policies.

5) The article needs to be cleaned up per Wikipedia standards, and really needs to be expanded. -- Gmatsuda ( talk) 09:03, 9 January 2008 (UTC) reply

I deleted the list of celebrities and made mention of the fact that they have treated many celebrities over the years earlier in the article. Much more encyclopedic. If someone could add a citation for this claim, it would be even better. -- Gmatsuda ( talk) 09:10, 10 January 2008 (UTC) reply

Religious Background

I don't have a problem with that, as long as it doesn't go overboard, follows Wikipedia's policies on requiring a neutral point of view and has sufficient, verifiable inline citations -- Gmatsuda ( talk) 01:49, 13 January 2008 (UTC). reply
How about something like... According to the Hebrew Bible, the Cedar of Lebanon was used to build King Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem and the Biblical Mount Sinai was where Moses received the Ten Commandments. ...? This is not an article about celebrities

It seems that there are a lot of people who are only interested in making this an article about what celebrities have been treated at Cedars-Sinai, and about which ones are most popular and should be the ones listed.

Keep in mind that this article is about CEDARS-SINAI MEDICAL CENTER. It is NOT about any particular celebrity. Moreover, for the few celebrities who are listed, they should show how Cedars-Sinai has treated celebrities for many, many years. A recent edit replaced all the celebrities with ones who are popular now, which is a totally ridiculous edit. Marijuana issue

Regarding this edit - The source is not neutral and the language in the edit is inappropriately biased. The edit is about a hospital refusing care to a person because of illegal substance use, and it seems that this has happened twice at the same hospital. There is some press about this, but the way the information is presented should meet WP:NPOV and the source given in this edit should be replaced with a neutral one. Expressionless Woman Incident

I'm surprised this wasn't included, as I have found references from several sources. Apparently in 1972 a strange woman (who didn't look quite human) was brought in covered in blood, and attacked and killed three people. Exact location

According to the map, the CSMC is located in West Hollywood, a city of its own, not in Los Angeles (although the city of LA is a couple of blocks away and WeHo belongs to greater LA area).
