Image:CeCeInsideThatICried.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:31, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

There is a lot of blank sections in this article. It seems an editor was in the middle of an extensive editing, and just stopped. Perhaps, the "under construction" template should be placed here, if he or she plans on finishing. If not, then that editor should probably ask someone for assistance with this article. I plan finishing this article by the time the CeCe Peniston's comeback album scheduled for the fall of 2010 is out. Benuliak 13:05, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
This entire article needs a complete re-write. The narration lacks neutrality in scope and language, has the feel of a fluffy music article piece for Seventeen Magazine composed by a fan. Article should be downgraded by Wikipedia with a neutrality dispute/ lack of verifiable citations and should be considered for removal. — Preceding

There's no excuse for this article having to wait three months for a review, so I'll try to get to this in a couple days. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 16:49, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
Here's my first round of comments:
Once these are addressed, I'll start tackling the prose. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 16:01, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
Here are some more prose comments:
All in all, I feel bad for saying this since clearly a huge amount of work went into this article, but to make GA status it honestly needs a complete rewrite. The prose is not good at all, and while there's a lot of detail, some puff sentences can be cut easily and make the article both better in regards to prose and a bit shorter. After all the issues I noted are fixed and the article modified, I would send it to PR first before coming to GAN again, just to make sure the prose is up to snuff. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:25, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
/sarcasm:Wow two typos and it fails GA status. Go figure. ☼Phrasia☼ ( talk) 07:00, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
The sentence "Tonya Davis, pregnant at the time of recording her album, would swear though, she harbored no Peniston envy" is cute, but come on, please rephrase. And who is Tonya Davis? That wasn't clarified. Stevie is the man! Talk • Work 23:38, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
