The
contentious topics procedure applies to this page. This page is related to articles about
living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, which has been
designated as a contentious topic.
Pardon my ignorance of the mechanics of Wikipedia, but, and especially after looking at the talk page, this entire article reads like it was written by a single, obsessive fan. Normally, well-known actresses like Cate Blanchett have a convenient "Filmography" subheading.
I agree. While the article is reasonable, it is far too hagiographic. There is almost not a single sentence or statement of fact that doesn't have a promotional comment attached. Blanchett is indeed an accomplished actor with many awards, but not every sentence needs to mention how amazing she is.
