By driving distance between BVL and Philadelphia may be shorter, but "as the crow flies", it is closer to Houston. [1] Rockhopper10r 18:24, 10 February 2006 (UTC) reply

BVL

Glad to see this article has returned to normalcy after years of being located at Lake Buenaventura simply because some user(who probably never set foot in the area) said it was the "official name" (never mind that "the official name" was made official by the Census Bureau who also managed to swap the location of "Lake Buenaventura" with Yeehaw Junction... if the U.S. government says it, it must be right). Anyway, back to the discussion at hand- I've included the term BVL in the intro because it is more commonly known as BVL, by those who live in BVL and those who live in the Greater Orlando area. It is very rare to hear a resident of the area call it "Buenaventura Lakes"; nothing screams out "non-native" more than calling it Buenaventura Lakes (other than perhaps pronouncing Kissimmee "kiss-a-me".
