I see no consensus regarding the proposed merge. I'll note, separately, that the merge tag was removed (
diff) from this page 2 months ago. Regardless, there is currently no consensus about a merge. Closed per request at
WP:ANRFC - if you have any questions, feel free to
ask me. Thanks, --

This was the predecessor of Azad Kashmir Regiment and should be merged into the history section. There is not enough independently sourced information on this force or even references to qualify for a separate a page.

Weak support - I think there is probably enough material to write about this force for a full article, but the article has remained dormant long enough. So there is no harm merging into the Azad Kashmir Regiment. If there is some burst of energy that adds enough content, it can be spun off afterwards. --

Oppose It may have been the predecessor, but both are separate entities. The Azad Kashmir Regular Force is known for its role during the 1965 war, whereas the
Azad Kashmir Regiment is the post-1971 unit of the Pakistan Army. The wartime histories of both are different, irrespective of succession. Mar4d (

Support merge, as there is already vastly more about the AKRF on the
Azad Kashmir Regiment page than there is on the brief
Azad Kashmir Regular Force. There is continuity of the members and history through the transition from a regular force to a regiments, which suggest that they are best discussed together.

Comment An unregistered user has
added a whole bunch of dubious content to this page in 2008. Over the years, this
WP:OR has been endowed with a series of
WP:FAKE citations, none of which check out. Recently,
Degen Earthfast has
copied all this content to
Azad Kashmir Regular Force and has commented on the merge proposal here, asking for both the articles to remain, despite the fact that both of them now have the same gunk. The whole thing is a ridiculous farce. When there is not enough reliably sourced content for even one article on the subject, why do we need two? --

Support: The overlap between the two pages prior to AKRFs "Merger into the Pakistan Army" in 1971 is considerable, obviously. Separate pages at this stage are not needed. Furthermore, the merger will do justice to both topics provided that the "Azad Kashmir Regiment" page covers the AKRF properly, including mention in the lead and it should also be clearly mentioned in the infobox somehow.
