To-do list for Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway:

Not sure my experiment (displaying the names of colors in color, i.e. dark blue, yellow, etc.) works. Is there any way to make the lighter colors render so that they are readable?-- Lordkinbote 09:25, August 21, 2005 (UTC)
I've removed two items from the References list that I originally added there last year. The site where the information came from has been blacklisted due to spamming. We should easily be able to verify information from the other numerous references listed here (aside: we need to work on adding inline citations to this article anyway). See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam#Suite101 dot com for more information. Slambo (Speak) 17:58, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Just wondering if anyone is familiar with where I might find promotional items for the Santa Fe Railroad. It seems that all I can locate is posters of Railroads. Where would someone look for collector type stuff? Hope I am within the perameters of purpose of this site. I am totally new and would not be offended if I was told this is not your purpose here, but didn't know where else to start.-- Intostuff214 ( talk) 02:51, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Hoi, I miss the Panhandle and Santa Fe Railway in the list of merged companies. Does anyone have enough information to include it? I'm not sure when the status changed from operating to non-operating. It was certainly still an operating subsidiary in the 20ies. -- Thogo (Talk) Some thoughts about enwiki 11:40, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Did the railroad start in Atchison, Kansas, or go there eventually? Article says it started in Topeka, not Atchison. -- DThomsen8 ( talk) 18:26, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Corrected the cities. It ran from LA to Chicago and then moved to Lake Forest, IL. Added article on it as well. RalphOnTheRailroad ( talk) 23:58, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

I am looking for info on Richard Rose worked as a City Freight Agent in Los Angeles in about 1940's. His son of same name may have also worked for Santa Fe. Can you tell me where I can go to get the info I would like?? Marcia Loomis marcia520@sbcglobal.net — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.36.17.112 ( talk) 16:42, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
Right now, the word choice in the history section makes the early days of the Santa Fe sound like a literal war (passes were "captured", land was "held"). While I realize that there are analogies between early railroad expansion and warfare, I think this section could be rewritten to read more like an encyclopedia and less like some kind of romantic vision of railroads going to war. I found out that much of the history section of the article focused on the 19th century and late in the 20th century. I believe we need to add more info in that "gap", covering the Santa Fe in the 20th century. Ctempire ( talk) 16:43, 28 March 2013 (UTC)

The various types of livery/paint schemes mentioned throughout the article are inconsistently placed in quotation marks or written in italics. Could someone who knows which format is correct adjust the format of the mentions for consistency? -- Nicholas0 ( talk) 02:04, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
Re the To-do list at top of this page, I note that there was previously a fairly detailed history section, which appears to have been deleted wholesale (939 bytes) by 47.157.116.151, on 14 October 2021, with the comment: The content refers to "Atlas Shrugged" and no to the Santa Fe Railway. The railroad's Wikipedia page is being used to promote the book. Does this make any sense? From what I know of ATSF history, the deleted bits seem to be pretty accurate.
