Opening comment

Since construction is over and the complex is open to the public, I think the picture showing construction should be replaced by one that shows the complex as it looks with the public visiting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.104.98.211 ( talk) 21:36, 1 January 2010 (UTC) reply

Following up on the comment above, I agree that the construction photos were appropriate at one point, but are now out of date. I propose removing the construction photos and others that are duplicative to create a more well-rounded Gallery.
I would also like to propose a number of additional edits to help bring the article content up to date, improve its organization and provide additional reliable sources for both past and present information. I’ve created a draft of my edits in my userspace here for other editors to review and provide input on before implementing any changes.
In the interest of full disclosure, the subject of this article is a client of my employer which presents a potential conflict of interest. With this in mind, I have been careful to observe Wikipedia’s NPOV and Verifiability policies. I welcome all comments and suggestions from others to continue to improve the article. Thanks, Jeff Bedford ( talk) 20:47, 28 February 2011 (UTC) reply
Did some minor MoS cleanup. For other comments, I'm not convinced that all of those restaurants are notable. The tone seems a bit like an advert. Nothing jumps out, it's just an impression it leaves. Looking at this from a WP:GA viewpoint, the article seems to contain most of what is needed. The introduction might be a bit short, the references seem close. Having the images in a gallery will probably be an issue, so the images being kept should be moved into the article text where possible. It might be good to retain at least one of the construction images. Also the convention center should be a section heading so that it can be linked directly via a redirect from the List of convention centers in Las Vegas. As an update for others reading this: With this edit, the article has been updated to reflect the sandbox draft mentioned above, per the recommendation made here. The current version now has a History section covering construction and background, has photos positioned in the sections they are related to (instead of in a gallery format at the bottom), and contains rephrased content to meet Wikipedia's WP:NPOV and WP:RS policies. Any continued feedback is encouraged. Cheers, Jeff Bedford ( talk) 18:43, 7 March 2011 (UTC) reply

Pre GA cleanup

Besides verifying the links, is there any work needed to nominate this for GA? Vegaswikian ( talk) 19:47, 7 March 2011 (UTC) reply

Story count not as advertised

These hotels have 10 fewer floors than advertised: "'With big-spending and superstitious Chinese gamblers in mind, Aria lacks floors 40-49. "The number four in Chinese when said sounds like the word for death,' MGM Mirage spokeswoman Jenn Michaels explains. 'The superstition is strongest in a gaming environment.'"
