This article is written in British English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, travelled, centre, defence, artefact, analyse) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Although I myself come from Warwickshire it is clear from the description of the area that it isn't just in Warwickshire but in the West Midlands and probably in Worcestershire too. But I hate changing page names so I can't be bothered to change it! Cls14 ( talk) 22:03, 3 March 2008 (UTC) reply

I agree and this is actually a problem in terms of understanding the cultural meaning of the term to those that used it originally. The article itself makes clear it it bigger than Warwickshire and bounded by the Roman Roads - hence it is Worcestershire, Shropshire, Coventry etc.

Just stumbled across this page and realized it has two pictures of the same item with the same caption, just from slightly different angles. does anyone have any opinion on removing one of the two? @ Vanis314: I agree that the two images of Coughton Cross are redundant, and support removing one of them. I suggest removing the closeup, as that only gives you the text on the plaque, while the wider shot gives you some idea of the actual cross. -- Xover ( talk) 10:22, 15 February 2017 (UTC) reply
