I suggest adding Humza Yousaf, the current Scottish First Minister, to the list of notable Arain individuals. This addition is based on reliable personal sources that confirm his Arain heritage, including details on the Wikipedia page for Humza Yousaf. This inclusion reflects the notable achievements and recognition of Mr. Yousaf in his political career, serving as a prominent figure of Arain descent. 74.109.249.249 ( talk) 22:33, 19 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Not done: Per the article page comment, please provide the reliable sourcing that supports Humza Yousaf identifying with Arain. If such sourcing is already in his article, please at a minimum indicate what reference number the source is, but ideally provide the link. — Sirdog ( talk) 04:00, 21 April 2024 (UTC) reply

can you add Victorian cross winner Fazal Din into the list of famous Arains. You can look up the source book "The Forgotten VCs: The Victoria Crosses of the War in the Far East During WW2" by Brian Best. The text goes in the book Fazal Din was a strict Muslim who was born into the Arian tribe of farmers in the Punjab. He was born and raised in Hussainpur Village in the Hoshiapur District on 1 July 1921 and joined the Indian Army at the outbreak of the Second World War. Many Arians enrolled and Muslims accounted for one third of the Indian Army. Din joined the 7th Battalion, 10th Baluch Regiment, which was raised in 1940. The regiment boasted the first Muslim to gain the Victoria Cross, which was awarded to Khudadad Khan during the First World War.

thanks for inclusion of Fazal Din into military section. Additionally you can add Admiral HMS Choudri who was the first native commander-in-chief of Pakistan Navy (He was brother of famed industrialist CM Latif (of BECO) belonging to Batala's Arain family). You may also add Hangor Day hero and recipient of Hilal e Imtiaz Ahmed Tasnim who sank Indian submarine.

Other is Prime Minister Chaudhary Muhammad Ali from Jalandhar yet to be added into politics section.

You need to include a reliable source for each suggestion. Blogs do not count as reliable sources. Ideally, you should include a link to the source directly. PianoDan ( talk) 22:32, 23 April 2024 (UTC) reply
