I propose moving his article to William R. Allen Road, the official name of the expressway. I did this change, but the changes were reverted. Please share your thought on this move. Cafe Nervosa | talk18:53, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

The use of the historic front-page image for this article is intended to significantly increase the reader's knowledge of the subject. The cancellation was a major turning point in the history of Toronto's development. Until that time, Metro Toronto was progressing with building a network of expressways, and residents in their path had had no success in stopping the projects. After a long campaign, the Davis government backed the side of the residents. There has not been a new expressway built in Toronto since. Alaney2k ( talk) 13:27, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
