I'm sorry if you don't understand the numerous problems with the article and I'm sorry if you think this is one of the better city articles. Simply put, quantity does not equal quality, and the local booster club's views usually do not align with Wikipedia's Five Pillars. Before working further, please take the time to 1. review Wikipedia's manual of style so you can see what some of the issues are (hint look at the capitalized headers); 2. look at what Wikipedia editors have actually deemed to be high quality (see our featured articles for examples); 3. remove the second paragraph as it is about as bad as it can get in the way of tone. Hopefully, once you learn more about Wikipedia and see what is in fact a nice article, you will see the plethora of issues ( full references are nice). Aboutmovies ( talk) 04:20, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Algonquin, Illinois's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
