FIMechE/FIME

Anyone know why FIMechE appears incorrectly as FIME despite being shown correctly in the text? I don't see why this is happening or how to correct it. Presumably it appears for other biographies as well. Hyperman 42 ( talk) 11:27, 8 October 2022 (UTC) reply

It was apparently an error in [Template:Post-nominals/GBR-cats]], which I've now corrected, but prior to that I changed the article to use Template:Post-nominals/GBR. I don't understand why the two different templates exist, & when which should be used. - David Biddulph ( talk) 11:00, 14 December 2022 (UTC) reply

RIP

This morning twitter is full of messages paying tribute to Adrian, who has apparently passed away. But I cannot find anything citable, so have not updated the article. -- chris_j_wood ( talk) 10:44, 14 December 2022 (UTC) reply

Looks like Mattdaviesfsic has found a cite and updated whilst I was typing above. -- chris_j_wood ( talk) 10:47, 14 December 2022 (UTC) reply

Over the past 30 years, few have played a bigger role in the growth and modernisation of the railways. And I'm sure he's missed by many a friend and colleague here today.
