I would dispute the statement that the AG is second only to the CGS in the British Army. That position must surely belong to the Commander-in-Chief Land Command, who, like the CGS, is a full general: the AG is only a lieutenant general. Franey 14:50, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I just removed the entire section labeled as "Heraldry" in that it was blatant cut and paste from this website. The user who posted this material has been warned about cutting and pasting entire sections from other sites. - Husnock 05:53, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
Why is the article name "Adjutant general" when throughout the article it refers to "Adjutant General"? Zarboki 06:54, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
I have removed the reference to the Jesuits (or 'Society of Jesus') as it was erroneous. Those in charge of advising the Superior General are called 'Assistants' and not 'Adjudants'. Zerged ( talk) 22:39, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
In the U.S. Army all personnel that carry jobs that deal with Personnel Records or Records Keeping fall under the AG Branch. Starting at the Battalion Headquarters every level of command has its own Adjutant, who is otherwise known as the S-1, or the G-1 at the higher levels of Command. Every Adjutant has his or her own cabinet of AG soldiers and NCO's (Non-Commisioned Officers). Also, in most cases the CSM (Command Sergeant Major) also falls under the S1 Section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 214.13.192.187 ( talk) 16:17, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
