Ballot qualified candidates
Some new party and independent candidates were able to make it on the ballot without a petition challenge. They are the following:
Christopher Kruger (Green, House District 17)
Joseph Schreiner (Libertarian, House District 19)
Anna Schiefelbein (Green, House District 85)
Angel Sides (Green, House District 87)
Kenneth Allison (Libertarian, House District 88)
John Cook (Independent, House District 89)
Ralph Sides (Pro-Gun Pro-Life, House District 100)
There are also some new party and independent candidates whose status is pending regarding ballot qualification due to objections, but some can be rectified by referencing Libertarian Party of Illinois et. al. v. Pritzker et. al. 1:2020cv02112 (N.D. Ill. 2020).
All are pending a hearing before the Illinois State Board of Elections.
Sean Matlis (Independent, House District 17)
Paris Walker Thomas (Independent, House District 28)
Alia Sarfraz (Green, House District 52)
Glenn Olofson (Libertarian, House District 55)
Joshua Flynn (Libertarian, House District 78)
Clayton Cleveland (Libertarian, House District 80)
Just for everyone's sake, you can look at the
Candidate Filing Search from the IL State Board of Elections website to see who qualifies for the ballot. A reminder that most Illinois counties' county clerks have their website where they display unofficial results. So if you're feeling antsy to add results, this is an option.
