Why is every state except Connecticut rounded to thousands? — Tamfang ( talk) 05:57, 8 November 2008 (UTC) reply

Now, nearly 7 years, the comparison between the 1980 census and 1990 census has roundings (or approximations) for the 1980 census in contrast to complete numbers for the 1990 census and then what it appears to be manual calculations of the differences between the two populations figures. If these are correct/accurate calculations then they would be misleading because the 1980 census numbers are rounded as opposed to precise numbers. This needs to be changed. Did the 1980 census produce only rounded numbers for the states? It appears that the first entry in the list of states by population is California which has a precise figure for both. Did someone get lazy or possibly not have the time to come back and fix what they were trying to correct? Did the original author or progenitor of the comparison forget what they were working on? It happens and things go unfinished. This is, as of now, a very unfinished article. The user:Tamfang above notes it is a problem in 2008, and as of 2015, it still is Stevenmitchell ( talk) 18:45, 1 February 2015 (UTC) reply

Map of change congressional seats

Can someone please make a map showing the allocation of seats in the US House following the 1990 census and put it in the main article? After all, there are ones for the 2000, 2010, and 2020 censuses, and they are in their respective articles. Lexikhan310 ( talk) 16:01, 29 June 2021 (UTC) reply

Table not sorting

In the first table, nothing happens when I click on sort by Change or by Percent Change. 170.142.177.115 ( talk) 17:27, 20 October 2022 (UTC) reply

I think I fixed it so that it sorts now. If I messed something else up in the process, please undo. 135.129.193.105 ( talk) 20:44, 21 October 2022 (UTC) reply
