Viscount Milton and Dr. Cheadle in British Columbia
A very well-known journal of exploration of Western CAnada is a diary-account of the travels of a Viscount Milton and his friend Dr. Cheadle in the 1860s; the frontispiece of
that book names William Fitawilliam Milton as the Viscount Milton in question; is this the same guy? If so
Category:pre-Confederation British Columbia people and
Category:Explorers of British Columbia should be added, and some content about the journey. I see that he was an MP, but if this was the same guy it would appear he took at least a two-three year absence. I don't see any other Earls Fitwilliam/Viscounts Milton with appropriate birthdates who might be the same, I'm expecting "this is him". Confirmation?
