I know the word "Britain' is banned at Wikipedia, but when the American Revolution broke out, the United Kingdom didn't exist yet. You'll just have to come up with something. Wetman 20:23, 24 Jan 2004 (UTC)
So would Chief Justice Cushing be an incorrect title?? If so they should change the name of the highway.
In the statement:
"However, when the American Revolution started, he had to choose between the rebels and Great Britain; unlike the rest of the court, he chose the U.S."
he could not have chosen the U.S. as the U.S. did not exist until the Constitution (of 1787) was ratified. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.59.67.68 ( talk) 22:15, 16 April 2007 (UTC).
