Overly technical introduction

  1. The introduction is too specialized: it assumes considerable background in algebraic geometry.
  2. It is too technical for an introduction.
  3. appears out of nowhere.

Yeah, so that intro was more of technical definition rather than an encyclopedic intro. I have added a more accessible intro, which assumes less prior exposure. -- Taku ( talk) 06:57, 19 September 2022 (UTC) reply

Low priority

Hi, can I object to the low priority? :-) In Algebraic and Arithmetic Geometry they are kind of everywhere. An isogeny is a torsor (e.g. multiplication by N on an abelian variety), etc. ArtistoY ( talk) 18:37, 12 March 2024 (UTC) reply

You can be bold and change it based on Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/Assessment or, less boldly, bring it up at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mathematics and see if the project agrees. Thanks and good luck.  SchreiberBike |  ⌨  21:18, 12 March 2024 (UTC) reply
