Since the discussion is all about the way that episode articles are named, I'd say it has everything to do with it. However, Bejnar makes a very good point below. The article names should be consistent with the parent article, at least for now. --

That discussion is about something completely different. If something was disputed at
WP:MOS we wouldn't start ignoring the rest of it just because one sentence is disputed! No-one in that discussion has questioned the part of
WP:TV-NC which says to use the format
The Apprentice (U.S. season 1). I agree Bejnar has a perfectly valid point. Personally I'm happy with how the guidelines are at the moment. If you or Bejnar want this changed please discuss it at
WT:TV-NC (in a new section because it is about something different).

Oppose as non-descriptive disambiguation. --

Maybe they are uninformed there. It is better to be consistent with the parent article,
The Office (U.S. TV series). --

So you're saying all of the TV season articles need to be renamed?! If so, please suggest changing the guideline at
WT:TV-NC. Also surely the season part of the title should be in brackets? If not "The Office (U.S. season 6)" then surely it should be "The Office (U.S. TV series) (season 1)". But any such change would need to be proposed at
WT:TV-NC so that a consensus can be reached.

If the guidelines need to be reformed, and it sounds like they do, given your problems, please go ahead and initiate the discussion. --

My problems...? What are they? I have no problem with the guidelines at
WP:TV-NC.
