Season order
What proof is there that the season order was rearranged from previous plans? I thought the reason this story was recorded was because Nicholas Courtney wasn't available until later for Battlefield, as well as April weather being potentially more appropriate for Fenric.

From the DVD information text subtitle. I'll quote it here before inserting the citation into the article.
"If things had gone according to plan, this would have been how Doctor Who started its 1989 series of adventures. 'The Curse of Fenric' was made with a view to its being shown first, followed by the serial 'Battlefield' and then 'Ghost Light', but later the producer decided that, as a horror story, 'Fenric' would make better viewing for late October, closer to Halloween, when the evenings are darker. And so 'Fenric' dropped down to third in the series running order."--Episode 1
