Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for
GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.
If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)
I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I will use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.
Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski(

Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.
Immediate Failures
It is a long way from meeting any one of the six good article criteria -
It contains copyright infringements -
It has, or needs, cleanup banners that are unquestionably still valid. These include{{cleanup}}, {{POV}}, {{unreferenced}} or large numbers of {{citation needed}}, {{clarify}}, or similar tags. (See also {{QF-tags}}). -
It is not stable due to edit warring on the page. -

Prose
Lede
There's a couple cites in the lede and infobox. The referee is clearly cited in the prose; and I feel like having the original date for the event should be in the prose somewhere (I was surprised it wasn't). Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski(

Without reading through other articles, would it make more sense as coaches to be a subsection of background? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski(

on 11 December, between Morely and Brown, - little bit of confusion for me, I'm assuming these were the team captains? EDIT - sounds like this was boat names? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski(

Well they're in italics, per names of boats, and the remainder of the sentence shows they're named after certain things. If you could suggest a non-repetitive alteration, I'm all ears?

It could be team names, or similar. What about simply "on 11 December, between boats named Morely and Brown". It's not a major gripe particularly. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski(

Hammersmith Bridge, Barnes Bridge, St. Pauls, are duplinks. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski(

Automated note - If you fancy returning the favour, I have outstanding GA nominations that require reviewing at
WP:GAN. I'd be very grateful if you were to complete one of these, however it's definitely not mandatory. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski(

Just in response to your edit summary, I'm not sure how I could ever take this non-event to FAC. But thanks for taking the GAN.

I have faith in you. There's no reason it couldn't get there if that was the will. From a quick scan of the article, it might be worth delaying the review a couple days, just so that any possible media about the event being cancelled might have time to come through. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski(

GAN is a cake walk, no problem and let's do this. FAC (as per most of the other recent Boat Race articles) is a push when the event never happened.

Just a couple items I'd like your thoughts on. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski(
