No evidence that "
The Black" ever refers to any Bangladeshi band.

Move to
The Black (band), not primary topic because of the album, but no evidence has been provided that this could
plausibly refer to any other band.

They are combined on disambiguation pages, but are different for article titles, for example
1975 and
The 1975. Plurals often share a disambiguation page with the singular form, but that doesn't make
Queen (band) and
Queens (group) the same. "The Black (band)" can only possibly refer to this - it only has to be disambiguated from other topics with the same title, not topics with similar titles just because they could appear on the same disambiguation page.

The result of the move request was: no consensus. Participants were unable to come to an agreement as to whether the presence of "The" in the American band's title was sufficient to disambiguate it from the Bangladeshi band. (

The absence of "The" generally doesn't distinguish as the absence of a modifier doesn't generally indicat a distinct topic. Crouch, Swale (

Those are generic v media (and similar) with base name titles, its often obvious the different between "The" being part of the name or not. Here we are talking about incomplete disambiguation and bands of which could easily be called with or without "The". Along the same lines the 1st one might also not be a good idea as the presence may not even distinguish. Crouch, Swale (
talk) 22:14, 18 March 2024 (UTC)reply
I don't see any evidence of this in reliable sources.

Regardless, this is controversial as it was discussed on an RM previously. So a new RM will be required.
Bensci54 (

I'll note that the previous RM was about moving the article away from
The Black, which is valid.

Oppose as mentioned "The" is generally interchangeable unlike The Wörld Is Yours where someone using the diacritic could only be looking for that distinct topic. Crouch, Swale (
talk) 19:23, 19 March 2024 (UTC)reply
Support per nomination. I don't see any reason to oppose and the two pages can be easily identified.--

Oppose. Current titles achieve clear disambiguation'.

Support The Bangladeshi band seems to be the primary topic here.
[1],
[2],
[3]. These are the coverage found from only the last one year for the Bangladeshi band while coverage for the American band is totally missing even if I go for last 10 years.
