Oppose The title appears completely generic to naive readers – most readers, that is. It would mislead almost all of them. The capitalisation of "Sensation" doesn't begin to clarify things, given that caps are used in unpredictable ways in the wild (our readers are not intimately familiar with Wikipedia's capitalisation conventions). Someone might be after the article
Itch,
Phantom limb pain,
Formication (sic), or something else that we have no way of anticipating. It is entirely unhelpful to lose the short informative qualifier "(band)", and clearly helpful to retain it. NoeticaTea? 20:24, 16 January 2012 (UTC)reply
Comment: All of the
incoming links seem to refer to the band, none to
Strange sensation. I understand Wikipedia uses bracketed terms for disambiguation, not as informative description. Having a disambiguation page, especially one without "(disambiguation)" and thus a likely search result, with a single proper target seems odd and unhelpful for navigation. --

Why should anything link to
Strange sensation? It doesn't exist! But see June 2011 page-view statistics for these articles, which are all to do with strange sensations:
["It often manifests as the perception of a strange light, an unpleasant smell or confusing thoughts or experiences"; "Strange smells ... or tastes", and 18 more types of sensation in the subsection "Other sensations".]
That's less than 1,000 against against a total of about 137,000 for just a sample of highly likely target articles, in June 2011. The ratio is less than 0.007. That hardly justifies losing the enormously informative qualifier "(band)", when there are so many more likely topics readers are looking for. In fact,
Strange sensation ought to be DAB page that includes all articles listed above, and more.
It is possible for red links to have incoming links and many do. When I pointed out that
Strange sensation doesn't have any, it was to demonstrate that nobody felt it necessary to link to that term. The fact that it's red demonstrates that nobody felt it necessary to create it. It's only Noetica's assertion that there is some compelling need for a navigational aid for this term. As that can't possibly be a REDIRECT, it has to be a disambiguation page,
Strange sensation (disambiguation). If such a page should ever be created, I can see room for endless fun by adding various light-hearted terms which some might think fitting. --

Support. I can sort of see Noetica's point, but unless he proposes adding
Itch,
Formication,
Paresthesia, etc. to a
Strange Sensation dab page, I don't see how readers are benefitted. So let me ask; Noetica - what do you think we should do with
Strange Sensation?
