The Rivers in Cambridgeshire category is misleading. Neither river touches that county.
This article implies that the location of the first battle of Arthur is known to be in Lincolnshire. This is a contentious issue.
I'll edit down the explanation to the bare essence. Perhaps the interesting bits about Arthur and patterns in Gaelic place names belong in proper articles. Nesbit 16:07, 27 August 2005 (UTC)
Glen River, Donegal was added by 216.113.168.139 14:05, 20 September 2006 (UTC, who left his signature in the article.
presumed to be the Kate after whom the bridge is named seems to come from the VCH, but may be wide of the mark.
My understanding is that Kates Bridge is a corruption of Cattebrigge [Wheeler, William Henry (1896). A History of the Fens of South Lincolnshire (2nd ed.). Boston, London: J.M. Newcombe and Simpkin, Marshall & Co. doi: 10.1680/ahotfosl2e.50358.] and that translates to Bishop's Bridge.-- Robert EA Harvey ( talk) 23:51, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
