Use of Rabbi by Mandaeans
A Mandaean priest holds the title of Rabbi, but they are not Jews by religion. They appear to be of Judean Israelite origin. Perhaps a section on non-Rabbinic usage of Rabbi by Samaritans, Mandaeans and Karaites? — Preceding
