Prypyat, Pripyat is a Ukrainian city, which means that the transliteration into English should be from Ukrainian, i.e. Prypyat. Therefore, please change Pripyat to Prypyat.

I agree the article title should be transliterated to match that of the country in which the settlement exists. Sadly, Wikipedia takes things like WP:COMMONNAME too far in some cases, flying in the face of common sense. -
