I think this pharmacodynamics page needs a major overhaul. It is currently a mix of ligand binding theory very loosely connected to real pharmacodynamics i.e. the relationship between concentration and response. The ligand binding figure is mis-labelled 'dose response' (dose and concentration are NOT the same). It also uses 'efficacy' inappropriately. Efficacy in a pharmacodynamic context refers to the maximum possible effect of a drug (Emax). Would whoever provided the 'dose-response' figure please consider producing a more accurately labelled replacement? NHGH 11:37, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
"MCPD ... is the study of the workings of a drug on a minimal multicellular system (mMCS), both in vivo and in silico." But not in vitro? That's surprising. Unfree ( talk) 00:16, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
The page does not seem to be well-written. A number of topics are too non-specific. "Undesirable effects"? "Physiological damage"?

There is considerable overlap between this page and the Drug action article. The scope of that article is primarily pharmacodynamics, with little to no pharmacokinetics. Thoughts? danielkueh ( talk) 19:49, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
The 4th paragraph states: "Pharmacodynamics it's a came to a greek word pharmacon means drug and dynamic means power. Pharmacodynamics is a branch of pharmacology deals with the study of drug.its came under what the drugs does to the body like machenism of action side effects advers effects." - Maybe the author should've studied better the pharmacodynamics of the drugs he took! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.31.132.225 ( talk) 20:29, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
