Notability concern

Someone recently deleted a notability tag, noting the diversity of sources on the article. While I don't have the time at the moment to start doing a reference search, I will note that the references here are largely things that don't hit the notability threshold - they're either not independent 3rd party sources (Americans For Truth, or the CWA, which the subject was an officer of), passing mentions, or using him as a source rather than as a subject. -- Nat Gertler ( talk) 15:56, 10 February 2013 (UTC) reply

Yes there are primary sources cited in the article, but there's also NPR, The Advocate and The Minnesota Independent. I've also found 377 newspaper articles from throughout the US, including major newspapers. He has also been covered in magazines including National Catholic Reporter, Human Events, Church & State, National Journal and Insight on the News. Finally, there are 136,000 Google search hits for "Peter LaBarbera". - Mr X 16:14, 10 February 2013 (UTC) reply

How is the burning of McCormack's University Baptist Church in any way relevant to this entry? Exaneci ( talk) 00:55, 8 March 2015 (UTC) Exaneci reply
