The article says B1509 is "1,700 years old" and is about "17,000 light years" distant from Earth. If it is only 1,700 years old, we'd have to wait another 15,300 years for first light to arrive so we could even see the object. — Quicksilver T @ 10:19, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
