The information about Kevin Smith and his re-write is verified by a link to his website, and there is no reason it should be removed. -- CJ 11:14, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. -- CJ 11:26, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
It is worth mentioning that Smith performed an uncredited rewrite on this film. It is worth mentioning that Joey Lauren Adams was up for the role. It is not worth mentioning that Smith holds a grudge against Witherspoon because it has nothing to do with this film. -- 15:01, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
I made this update and wanted to explain and centralize all feedback. I cleaned up the summary, looking at the 27 Dresses entry for "romantic comedy film" and Frida for how to handle uncredited writers. Then I added the plot header and changed the voice of the plot description (no more "It's about"). Finally I removed the details of Kevin Smith's grudge against Reese Witherspoon, leaving a mention of it and a link to Smith's detailed account of it. Blakecarlile ( talk) 20:03, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
