Hi, I'm
Mm40 (
talk·contribs) and I'll be reviewing this article. I'll be watching this page, and will be very active over the next week, so you should just leave any comments here.
[1] gives information of his MMA record. A seemingly less-reliable source is
here
The first link is not about this Mitchell. He was either 17 or 18 around the time that "Nick Mitchell" had his fights. And, the research that has been done to this article, there's no mention of him participating in MMA before his wrestling career. I too believed that that first link had to do with his MMA career. --

Well, that was dumb of me.
Mm40 (

Don't say that, we all make those types of mistakes. :) --
ThinkBlue (HitBLUE) 02:50, 3 April 2010 (UTC)reply
It's just another source; I'll leave it up to you to see if anything there is worthwhile.
Mm40 (

I don't think so. We don't need to "overshadow" Mitchell with his store. --
ThinkBlue (HitBLUE) 02:50, 3 April 2010 (UTC)reply
I've had a look at that article, and I don't think there's anything really usable in it. It's really talking about Wilson - and I don't think it's necessary to say "Wilson is the one who chooses the stock they sell in the store" in Mitch's article. It's more relevant to Wilson's article imo. ♥

Is it worth mentioning that Mitchell was, at one point, one of only two Tough Enough season 4 alumni on WWE?
[2]
I think so.
Well then add something on it.
Mm40 (
talk) 22:07, 2 April 2010 (UTC)reply
It shouldn't be in the lead, as the lead is an overview of the article. I would place it in the first subsection of Professional wrestling career
Added to the Tough Enough section. ♥

I suppose no images of Mitchell are available?
Nope.
Have you checked Flickr and other image-sharing sites?
Mm40 (
talk) 22:07, 2 April 2010 (UTC)reply
Nope, no images of him. Either, he's in a picture, but you can barely see him, so. --
ThinkBlue (HitBLUE) 02:50, 3 April 2010 (UTC)reply
I'll back this up - I ran a few searches of my own, and there are no good photos of him - not even ones that can be cropped. ♥

Lead
I think his nickname, "Big Time", should be placed more prominently, such as in the infobox and the lead's first sentence
Suggestion?
I'm not sure, but it needs to be somewhere in the lead and somewhere in the infobox

Much more can be taken from current reference 3, such as why he was only at Blinn for two semesters, information on his MMA career (first opponent/event), information on high school, the scholarship he got from Northwestern State, details about his first TE appearance, etc. Basically, this article is on the short side, so we should be looking to add detail.
The sentence beginning "He began wrestling under the name..." is confusing: does the name have anything to do with who he fights? I think this could be clarified by saying "other competitors included..."
Yes, it does.
Can you make the article clearer that the name change does impact who he fights, and possibly why?
Mm40 (

How did he injure his knee in Tough Enough?
I don't think he got injured in Tough Enough. I think you mean during his time with Deep South Wrestling. Also, the implication of the injury is not notable.
Take out the "however" in the last sentence of the the Tough Enough section as that sentence doesn't contrast with the previous one
Removed.
The Spirit Squad (2006)
Somewhat major problem: the section doesn't talk about Mitchell's role in the group at all.
He didn't have much a role to be honest. The Squad was really used to promote Kenny and Mikey, and the other three were just "filler" for lack of a better term. I've added that he was mainly used in a non-wrestling role for the first few months due to his injury, but there's not a whole much more I can add. ♥

Did Mitchell ever fight in any individual matches in WWE?
No, he did not. He fought along with the Spirit Squad.
When you say "they had their WWE television debut as a group", do you mean that all five members were appearing in WWE for the first time?
Yes, sir... or ma'am.
I'm male, although you can hardly call me sir... ;)Mm40 (

I wasn't sure, I checked your userpage didn't find anything, and I didn't want to offend. :) --
ThinkBlue (HitBLUE) 02:50, 3 April 2010 (UTC)reply
In the first paragraph of the section on the Spirit Squad, does Shawn Michaels have a position (such as McMahon as WWE chairman)?
No, at the time, he was a wrestler. Now, he's retired.
"with outside help from the other three Squad members" Can this be clarified; what did they do to help?
Meaning, that the three members not participating in the match interfered on their behalf.
Yes, I get this, but what specifically did they do?
Mm40 (
talk) 22:07, 2 April 2010 (UTC)reply
They attacked one of the wrestlers. I've added this. ♥

More background is needed on DX; since the article says "revive", when was the first incarnation?
Their last "revival" was in 2002, though it was "teased", as Triple H had
betrayed Michaels.
Please add at least the year to the article.
Mm40 (

Done.
"and a clean sweep in an elimination handicap match" what is a "clean sweep"? I've heard the term in other contexts, but I'm unsure of what it means here
Meaning, that the team defeated all of them, without Michaels and Triple H being pinned.
When the Squad went on a losing streak in singles matches, did Mitchell lose any matches individually? and a clean sweep in an elimination handicap match
No, he didn't participate in that. He was just at ringside.
Is there any info on why WWE released him? I think I saw a blog on it, but there may be a better source.
I don't think so, not like, I'm not sure there is anything related to that.
Mixed Martial Arts
As I said above, this section should be expanded
There's not that much info. on his MMA career.
Since Rock Long is red-linked, would it be possible to give background on him? Such as who else he has trained, where he's based, etc.
Add info. about Long in Mitchell's article?
Yes, just a brief description. The average reader will want to know if he's trained any other successful MMA fighters.

What does "held back" mean in the first paragraph? Clarify
IDK what it means. It was there when I started working on the article.
Well if even the article writer doesn't know what it means, you should probably get rid of it.
Mm40 (

I've clarified it, hopefully that helps. ♥
