That page says to "Consider attempting to discuss the matter with the closer as this could resolve the matter more quickly." Also the Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Nancy_Bass_Wyden says that "subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the article's talk page..".
