Oppose The lede says it is an acronym for "News and Entertainment Television". At most a move to
NET (Indonesia) is much more advised as being much simpler and the period is just an extraneous branding item. Nate•(

Definitely. get. rid. of. the. dot. There are many examples of that being considered mere vanity styling on Wikipedia. I also support Net rather than NET, since it seems to be a backronym and the uppercase is not followed very consistently in sources (which we seem to have a shortage of).
This has "Net" in its headline, and
this and
this use "Net" consistently, so three out of the four currently cited sources use "Net" at least some of the time. I don't understand the reference to

Move toNET (Indonesian TV channel) because acronym. The nominator's claim that the name is a backronym is baseless. What does "Net" refers to if it's a backronym?

Support removing the period is a necessity. The official name seems to be "PT Net Mediatama Televisi", without the capitalization; however I don't speak any Bahasa and if common usage is clear that it is a backronym I'm fine with the caps.

The name is definitely an acronym but not all acronym is a backronym (the nominator has not provided a source that the name is a backronym). "PT Net Mediatama Televisi" is also stylized as all-caps
as a whole or
"NET" only. It is unknown whether the name with title-case is the official stylization but an acronym should be written in uppercase per
