It seems that the company and its publications are currently styled without a space as MotorTrend Group and MotorTrend Magazine. I’d like to gather feedback on whether the relevant articles should be updated to reflect this before making the change.
So, I did some research, and I believe that the legal name is spelled with the space: "
Motor Trend Group, LLC" in Michigan, for example. "Motor Trend" often becomes "MotorTrend" in the copy of company material, which might be more of a "stylized as" name. If this is the case, the lead could begin with:
Motor Trend Group, often stylized as MotorTrend Group, formerly known as . . .
If that is true, the question then remains, is "MotorTrend" the correct spelling for the title due to
WP:COMMONNAME, just like
iPhone and
eBay? That would make sense to me, and in that case, I support the move.

The "distribution arm" of Source Interlink shut down in 2014.
The "publishing arm"Motor Trend Group was renamed "TEN: The Enthusiast Network" (not sure when) and then renamed again to "Motor Trend Group" in 2018.
Are there any other "arms" of this company?
If not, then I suggest the entire
Source Interlink article be merged into a "History" section of the
Motor Trend Group article.

Support — I support this merge and tagged both articles.
