Spelling of surname
Why the hell is this article titled Sarjeant where every other reference to his surname is Serjeant? —Preceding

The correct spelling is 'Sarjeant', but mis-spellings appear to be very frequent.

Inluding several times within this article. It should be either Sarjeant or Serjeant but not both.

Name of Scots Guard
I have taken the liberty of altering his first name from Alexander to Alistair. This error appears to have been included in most articles I have searched on the internet. The former Guardsman is now retired from the forces and has taken the post of Security Officer where I work. I spoke with him today (18 Jan 2011) and confirmed the spelling of his name (without an 'e' on the end he enlightened me) and the fact that his nickname was "Alec" in the regiment.
A fine, warm-hearted gentleman, proud of his regiment, country and sovereign.
