"This list compiles the names of all neuroscientists with a corresponding Wikipedia biographical article"... So this is intended to be a copy of
Category:Neuroscientists? Lists and categories are supposed to serve different purposes, I don't really see that here (apart from the fact that the category is near-complete and this list is a haphazard collection of the WP articles concerned). --

That's an issue I never thought of. Is there a policy or guideline that addresses whether or not list pages can mirror categories? (Not that it really addresses your comment, but I watchlist this list page in order to watch for the creation of non-notable neuroscientist biography pages.) --

Not to be difficult, sorry, but I see you just added one page, and I wonder whether, as an associate professor, that subject might fail
WP:PROF. --

It would be a lot of work, but if you are willing to do it, I think it would indeed make the list more informative. Another benefit would be that it would discourage the addition of non-notable names for which there is no page, as well as pages for neuroscientists who are not yet notable. --

I made a template with all the names and a few examples:
Draft:List_of_neuro. I don't know if it needs to be worked there before coping to the main page or it could be posted in this way so evereone can work on it.

I don't think many editors pay close attention to this page, and I'm not going to work on the draft, so the ball is pretty much in your ballpark, in terms of finishing it. But if anyone else watching here wants to, please edit the draft, of course. I think it would be a mistake to move the draft into mainspace before it is complete, because it would not serve our readers very well if incomplete. Please also note that new names/pages are being added to the list. --

Thanks for getting this underway – it looks good! I have one suggestion. Instead of having the sortable column for the letters of the alphabet, I think it would be easier to navigate if there were separate sections for each letter (in alphabetical order), each with its own table. --

Thanks!. I think that separate sections could make easier to navigate between names, but not between dates and countries, what do you think?
Gcastellanos (

That's true, and it was something that made me pause before saying what I said above. I'm ambivalent because, on the one hand, it could be useful to sort by those parameters, but on the other hand, I think that such a need is rather limited because there just won't be that many readers wanting to do that. I'd like to be able to make the alphabetical column hidden, if that's workable, because it looks odd to have that column, with only letters in it. And it could also be good to at least have separator rows of some sort between each letter and the next. Are those things technically feasible? If something like that is not feasible, I would lean towards preferring to lose the other kinds of sorting in favor of having alphabetical sections. I'm also going to leave a note at
WT:NEURO, so that other editors might give their opinions about the format. --

Sorting by last name
It continues to look odd to me to have a sortable column called Letter, to sort by last name, and then having the Name column sort by first name. I've looked around and found a workaround that I want to recommend.
Help:Sorting#Specifying a sort key for a cell shows how to use data-sort-value to sort the Name column by last name instead of by first name. I think this would be much more reader-friendly, and it would then mean that the Letter column could simply be removed. --

Thank you. I also think it will more reader-friendly. Lot of work.

Good, I'm glad that we agree. I'm willing to try to help with that work. --

Done. And yes, it was indeed a lot. --

LGBTQIAP+ Inclusion
What about intersectionality and the LGBTQIAP+ communities? There are thousands of neuroscientists who are non-binary and/or genderqueer, genderfluid or pangender. They have to be represented more.
