“Euclidean subspace”:
there is a consensus that the meaning of a real finite-dimensional
linear subspace is a misnomer. The valid meaning,
flat (geometry), is added to its rightful spot under its common name.
Structures incorporated all topics previously from
“Vector spaces” related to supplementary structures on vector spaces.
“Affine space” becomes
“Affine space and related topics” and included affine coordinates and affine-based groups. Because Euclidean, pseudo-Euclidean and similar structures are not parts of the affine structure, the section had to be renamed.
