On January 1st, 2018, Uruguay's minimum wage was decided to be UYU 13,430 per month, which equals USD 473,54. Reference: http://www.subrayado.com.uy/noticias/74155/salario-minimo-aumento-95-y-paso-a-ser-de-13430-pesos-desde-enero
Can we get a map going by % per capita GDP?
The data on Iran is utterly false. Iran's official minimum wage is 53 million IRR which is roughly $100 per month (if you are lucky enough to find a job). I need help to correct it. Mohagem ( talk) 18:40, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
Why is the table sorted in alphabetical order only? We need also a table sorted by the minimum wage itself from highest to lowest. I've seen other articles about the Gini index, etc that the tables are again sorted by alphabetical order in them! Aminabzz ( talk) 17:46, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
Brazil's minimum wage is now 1412 BRL (288 USD). Please change it Semduvidas1 ( talk) 18:07, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
Iran: How does $152 per month equate to $20,881 per year? Argentina: How does $190 per month equate to $21,350 per year?
I mean just look at the "percent of GDP" figure of Argentina to the right... they pay 950% of their GDP per capita as minimum wage? 107.15.254.76 ( talk) 00:18, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
some anons from Turkey keep trying to make fools out of the readers. Wants us to believe that a minimum wage of 570$ net monthly would translate to PPP of 150k$ p.a.
Seems I must find me an admin or someone who knows why the wiki tool is spitting out that nonsense number. If anyone knows the tool enlighten me Foerdi ( talk) 23:17, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
Could someone please adjust the numbers for Canada? I updated the new numbers for the lowest and highest minimum wages, and the equivalent US amounts, but then realised the tables would all have to be adjusted as well, and I don't know how to do that ("nominal", "PPP", "GDP", etc), so I didn't publish the changes. I left it as is. The sentence to be changed reads: "The minimum wage in Canada is set federally and by each province and territory; ranges from CA$13 to CA$16 (US$9.69 to US$11.93) per hour." The sentence can be changed to read, " ... ranges from CAD$14 to CAD$19 (USD$10.33 to USD$14.01) per hour." and then the corresponding tables will have to be changed as well (and if anyone knows how to do it and can tell me, I can do it myself. Still learning). And FYI, the currency abbreviations/acronyms for Canadian and US currencies are "CAD" and "USD", not "CA" and "US".
On a related note, some of these figures will change later in 2024 (i.e. Ontario's minimum wage of $16.55 will rise to $17.20 on October 1, 2024), but that can dealt with later. Kubrickrules ( talk) — Preceding undated comment added 14:42, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
