I have just added the FOUR Cars Toons to the list of shorts. As per the latest Tokyo Mater see the 2nd reference - it will apparently debut with Bolt from the 12th.. I was going to start a seperate section on this page, much like I have done on the PIXAR Films template, but as this does not state shorts I assume it is okay to put the TV shorts in this list too.
For that matter (this is more to do with the template), with the addition of this latest short, the series is no longer TV exclusive, so should the short films section be opened up to include ALL shorts irrespective of where they debut (well it kind of is already with the DVD shorts but whatever)...
Anyway I leave this open for any discussion that might fall out from this. Cheers. SWatsi ( talk) 20:33, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Toon Disney is now called disney XD so i think undder the cars toons table thoose names should be changed. If the shorts were released when it was called toon disney i think in perentheses it should say something like now called disney xd. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.248.80.26 ( talk) 21:56, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
These are not recognized as shorts in the sense of the rest of the list. I've moved them to a separate section on this page and on the template. Mr. Incredible & Friends is a mockumentary and is listed under "Other" on the DVD, not as a short. Exploring the Reef is an educational film by Jean-Michael Cousteau with Nemo characters as sidekicks. I haven't seen George & A.J. but it is not listed as a short film on Pixar's website. I removed the claim that The Adventures of Andre and Wally B. was theatrically released with Toy Story, because, well, it wasn't. As the lead paragraph states:
If showing a short along with each Pixar feature began with the second Pixar feature A Bug's Life, then, obviously, the first Pixar feature would not have had a short before it. And, in fact, it didn't.-- Metropolitan90 (talk) 21:00, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
I just checked the iTunes (UK) store, and these shorts were available for purchase:
Are the rest of the shorts up to Presto in the US store, or is the information in the article inaccurate? — 87.115.103.10 ( talk) 09:55, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
Please use rowspan only for those things that "span" multiple shorts - in particular, years and DVDs. 2005 saw both Jack-Jack Attack and One Man Band. The Cars DVD included One Man Band and Mater and the Ghostlight.
On the other hand, while Geri's Game and For the Birds were both Best Animated Short Film winners, their wins were completely independent of one another.
Tables with heavy use of rowspan are hard to follow; let's not use it when it's not appropriate. Use it when it's semantically meaningful, not as a table optimization mechanism.

Each of the three episodes were in the 2010 releases of the respective Toy Story movies. -- Addict 2006 06:20, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
Could someone who is more wiki talented than myself fix the table so it is sortable by date without screwing up the columns? Patrick McDougle ( talk) 00:23, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
I added the theme park film to this article It's Tough to be a Bug! is an an 8-minute, 3D movie and multimedia show, fun for big kids, teens and adults, performed in an air-conditioned movie theater embedded in the enormous root structure of The Tree of Life in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. It's Tough to be a Bug! is hosted by Flik, everybody's favorite ant, and his grasshopper friend, Hopper, from the Disney·Pixar film A Bug's Life. The supporting cast consists of cute and creepy crawlers like spiders, termites, beetles, weevils and butterflies. These amazing and amusing insects and arachnids invite the audience to be honorary bugs. Through 3D "Bug-Eye" glasses, get a fascinating and hilarious look into the animal kingdom that just might change your perspective enough to think: "It's Tough to be a Bug! Insects should be our friends." But Hopper reveals humans as bugs' biggest enemy, and suddenly it's a swarm of activity. Hornets go in for the sting and everyone's a-buzz, reacting to the startling, surprising (and possibly frightening for little grubs, er, little ones) in-theater special effects. Finally, Flik cues the finale and the show metamorphoses into its sweet spectacular finish. Gotta take it from an ant: from cocoon to curtain call, It's Tough to be a Bug! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tTxSqj4wvY&feature=related DoctorHver ( talk) 23:26, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

I just found out that an IP included A Computer Animated Hand in the "Theatrical short films" section by copying all The Adventures of André & Wally B. part of the table. As Pixar was not founded until 1979 under Lucasfilm's ownership and Edwin Catmull was still an university student at this time, I think A Computer Animated Hand doesn't count as a Pixar short film, so I wish to remove it from the "Theatrical short films" section's table.-- André the Android( talk) 15:48, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
This short was released online on March 29, 2017 but isn't listed at all on this page. It is definitely Feature Related but it was released before the film online in stead of afterwards along with the home video release so it won't fit neatly into the table. I'm not sure how to list it but it obviously needs to be included somewhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pinkmanlovemouth ( talk • contribs) 06:24, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
