Do we really want a list of all levee breaches? There must be thousands in the Netherlands alone. I suggest we limit it to a list of notable breaches with an emphasis on modern events.

The "levee" failure in New Jersey during Huricane Sandy, 2012, was not really a levee, but a natural embankment or berm that was breached. — Preceding

Places
In this page, place names outside the US are "localized" by their country name, while US place names are not. Are the US the center of the world and of the English speaking Internet? Why not "localize" US place names too? — Preceding
