Support as proposed. I also note that many of the search results that do include “Whakatipu Waitai” are about the names (or similar names), and don’t reflect standard use of them together. Others use one of the names in brackets, which never feels to me like a naturally double-barrel use so much as a news source endeavouring to serve two languages. — HTGS (

Support. The slash character should be strongly avoided in titles. From the first version, “Lake McKerrow” came first, which is a very indicator for the better title. —
