International Reception

Some issues that I'm finding with this article is that the content within the International Reception section is lacking information for many countries. I would like to edit the sections of China as there are some grammar errors, as well as Japan. I mainly want to focus on expanding information for Malaysia and Laos.

Bad title

Can we stop assuming "Korea = South Korea"? There is another part. It may be a hellhole, but it is still as much a part of Korea as the South is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:4C8:1486:640C:6830:FBC0:9F24:D6D ( talk) 17:06, 20 May 2022 (UTC) reply

Ratings and viewership

Good day @ Michaelelijahtanuwijaya, only add ratings or viewership numbers of final episode of each series after Nielsen Korea publish the data, there's no need to keep adding or changing the list for an ongoing series. Regards, 98 𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 04:48, 22 January 2024 (UTC) reply

where does that rule come from? why suddenly implement such a rule? then why is Life Your Own Life still in position 39 then? Michaelelijahtanuwijaya ( talk) 05:32, 22 January 2024 (UTC) reply

Lead

I just deleted a good chunk of the lead. It had a lot of direct quotes in it with parentheses format citations, which doesn't follow normal style guidelines. It was also not the best prose.

Currently it needs to be rewritten. Maybe I'll take a shot at it now toobigtokale ( talk) 01:07, 25 January 2024 (UTC) reply

Gave it a shot, still unhappy with it though toobigtokale ( talk) 02:47, 25 January 2024 (UTC) reply
This is toobigtokale; I can't edit the lead as I've deleted my account, but I would otherwise. Someone pruned info from the lead about its prevalence in certain areas, which I partially agree with, but think it perhaps went too far. The fact that >90% of certain regions consumed certain Korean programs gives a sense of the scale of adoption. The stuff about Netflix was kept in, but I'd argue that's a similar niche detail. Currently the description of the spread is limited to "spread around the globe", but that doesn't really give a sense of what that means. 104.232.119.107 ( talk) 05:33, 15 May 2024 (UTC) reply
