There are more Koli in Gujarat than Maharashtra. Infact, Koli community can be found all over India. There is a NGO called Akhil Bharatiya Koli Samaj (All India Koli Association). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dcpatel ( talk • contribs) 22:39, 27 April 2007 (UTC). reply

Could you please specify as to why my contribution to article on Koli was removed? I added following comments which is true and can be proven. Please specity if any or part of my contribution was untrue!

"The Koli community is found throughout India. The largest number of Kolis are found in Gujarat state numbering almost 20 to 24% of the total population of Gujarat state. In Gujarat there are number of sub-groups within the Koli community and together they are simplay called Kolis. The Koli subgroups are: Koli Patel or Talpada, Matia, Gulam, Mansarovaria, Thakarda or Thakore, Patelia, Ghedia, Valankiya, Chuvalia, Talpada, Khant, Pagi, Idaria, Pardeshi, Bariya, Bhalia, Kotwal, Patanwadia, Debaria, and Rathwa. Most of the Kolis in Gujarat are involved in agriculture or animal husbandry. Kolis are also found in Maharashtra." Dcpatel ( talk) 17:25, 24 December 2007 (UTC) reply
