The original article was a straight hoax. Later additions have muddied the waters, but what we have is a completely unsourced article, with a few small and insignificant details which are verifiable, but substantially a mixture of certainly false content and unverifiable, probably false information. In short, substantially a hoax.

Done doing it on the feasible basis that if a reader ended up here, it is because they are looking for an article under the other spelling. —
