The Pelagie islands are listed as exclaves of Italy, but that is not correct according to the definition. Islands whether belonging to another continent or not are not exclaves. But even if we really went by that definition, not all Pelagie islands don't belong to Italy geographically/orographically speaking. Linosa does belong. Only Lampedusa and Lampione are doubtful.
The situation is not comparable to Spain's one that has Canary Islands thousands of kilometres ways. Or the ones in front of Northern Moroccan coast 78.208.29.116 ( talk) 13:56, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
Italy is a regional state not an unitary state. The regions have political power of making laws concerning the subjects defined by the constitution. Art 117 Italian constitution. So the the government form Must change to regional parlamantelary Republic. Conforx ( talk) 11:13, 5 April 2024 (UTC)

The article says that Italy has the eighth-largest nominal GDP in the world, but, according to the International Monetary Fund, the county is in ninth position, which we can see here: World Economic Outlook database: April 2024.
