Just a point of information: Per an ODOT document regarding a resurfacing project on the I-271 Express Lanes a few years ago that I saw on their website, the Express Lanes are identified as 271X to distinguish them from the local lanes. Unfortunately, the document was in a section of their site which is now only accessible by employees, so I can't see if there's a more recent one with the same reference, assuming that they removed the one in question long ago. (Most documents only refer to the Express/Local lanes as a single facility since it's in a single right-of-way.) Mapsax ( talk) 01:13, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
See this press release from July 31, 2013. Worth a mention in the article? If so, we could mention it on Interstate 480 (Ohio) as well, since the Cuyahoga stretch includes the entire 271/480 concurrency. (I assume that the Cuyahoga/Summit County line is the limit for both projects mentioned in what otherwise would seem to be one big project because that's also the border between ODOT District 12 and District 4.) The southern I-271/I-480 split is now north of the Broadway/SR-14 exit with 480/14 leaving the 271 right-of-way where it always has to the south (see the map service of your choice). I'm not sure how this can be reflected in the exit list. Mapsax ( talk) 02:55, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
