Mess.... - okay the problem was that we already had an article at
Abir which is the Nepali/Bengali version, and now we have a duplicate article on Gulaal the Marathi version. अबीर and गुलाल flower powder and rose powder, appear to be almost the same thing. On top of that the Abir page has somehow been encroached from or to the Abir (disambiguation) page. And
Gulaal (film) is the same thing.

Done some clean up. Probably can remove (Holi festival), but needs some sources to explain difference if any from Abir.

Support for a different reason. It's not the number of "a"s that matters very much – it seems to be spelled both ways. But this article is simply the
WP:Primary topic for the term – regardless of the spelling. The film and television show are named after the powder, and if we had a film named Train, we would still keep the
Train article where it is.

"Other uses and westernisation" needs an rewrite
That subsection on this page does not read like an encyclopedic article, but a complaint and genuinely needs to be redone. However I'm not versed enough on the topic to rewrite it myself, if anyone else who does know more could tweak it that'd be fantastic.
