Hhkohh: How do you reconcile your position with our book-specific guideline,
WP:SUBTITLE, which states:
Usually, a Wikipedia article on a book (or other medium, such as a movie, TV special or video game) does not include its subtitle in the Wikipedia page name, per
WP:CONCISE. The only exception to that is short article titles, for disambiguation purposes.
WP:SUBTITLE is not a policy, just a guideline, see also
WP:COMMONNAME and other related policy and it says usually not alwaysHhkohh (

Support I see no issue with the requested move, and it abides by the given guideline. -- AlexTW 03:38, 9 September 2018 (UTC)reply
Oppose per
WP:NATURALDIS. I don't see how shortening the title helps here. --

Oppose: I see no rule anywhere that "only short subtitles may be used for disambiguation". I see instead at
WP:NCDAB that, where disambiguation is needed, natural disambiguation is the first choice.

WP:SUBTITLE not qualify?

Pam commented before your quote, so it would be interesting to see if that changes anything. —

I don't think she did, but it's certainly possible that she accidentally missed it.

I find the wording of that section confusing as it talks about "short titles" and this now appears to mean "short subtitles". If that interpretation is correct it would be useful for an example like this one under discussion to be included there to clarify.

Support per
WP:SUBTITLE, and because the current title is a very cumbersome disambiguation which is not concise. —

Support Neutral, the title is so long I almost missed that the nom calls for a "book" descriptor (
God and Kings (book)) and thought it was like many of their other common-name nominations without descriptors. But 'book' works here.

@
Randy Kryn:, there are other books, such as Gods and Kings, 1945 collection of six one-act plays by
Lajos Bíró .
In ictu oculi (

Oppose cited guideline does not apply as disambiguation and long title are clearly beneficial to readers here, and in cases without (book) WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT works for short titles.

Oppose. I see at least one other book at
Gods and Kings (disambiguation). Suggest
Gods and Kings (Dana Thomas). In literature, try to avoid "book" vs "play" vs "novel" etc. Many other creative arts have a an accompanying "book". In literature, Title / Author referencing dominates, is there a reason for Wikipedia to not like disambiguating creative works by author? --

Oppose. I would support this per Frayae but there is another book/novel titled Gods and Kings so it may not be helpful to move. Flooded with them hundreds 05:09, 28 September 2018 (UTC)reply
