The last line under "Company Reputation" is cited using a lawsuit from 2002. The line says, "The company received multiple bad reviews for deceptive marketing and for failing to pay claims." However, the lawsuit cited solely indicates Globe Life was fined $5,000 by the State of Oregon for not paying interest on some Oregon death claims. The cited lawsuit does not validate the claim of "deceptive marketing" or "failing to pay claims". If this line is to remain in the article, it should be properly cited with a source that validates its claims. Corey a jones ( talk) 16:54, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
Per the discussion above, I have removed the line "The company received multiple bad reviews for deceptive marketing and for failing to pay claims." due to lack of relevant citation. Corey a jones ( talk) 15:09, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Please change the company website URL for Globe Life And Accident Insurance Company from www.globeontheweb.com to www.globelifeinsurance.com. Both sites are currently active so the change can be made at any time. I am employed by Globe Life and, therefore, can't make the change myself but can verify that the www.globeontheweb.com website will be going away in the next few months. thanks Corey a jones ( talk) 22:01, 7 April 2016 (UTC)

@ Spintendo:
The tag above indicates that the change requests from January 10, 2019 were declined. I don't know if you can help me or not, but since you were the last to comment on this request, I am responding to see if it would be possible to get specific feedback on why the changes were declined. The goal of these edits is to provide more current stats, information, and citations for topics already covered on the page, but I am happy to make further adjustments if needed. I also want to keep this feedback in mind as I make other edits on the Wikipedia site.
Thank you,

I see your point. So far, I haven't been able to identify another third-party resource that would clarify the naming conventions for the exact legal entities, so I am withdrawing this edit request at this time. Hello @ Drm310:
I note that you were the original placer of the maintenance tag on this page in 2012. Having responded to two requested edits and looking at its past history, I do believe the company is following Wikipedia's policy to propose requested edits to the page when there is a conflict of interest. The original user MarkWriter is no longer active, and most of their edits have been purged of its promotional value at the time of the inclusion of the maintenance tag. I would think that it's alright to remove it now, but wish to seek your opinion. Seloloving ( talk) 16:40, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
