@ Mccapra: added a more footnotes banner to this page. I don't think that's helpful. Each section is supported by its own reference. It would be more helpful to add citation needed, than to add a boilerplate on top. The only section that potentially needs more references is the IUCN Red List-section IMHO. Why two elephants?
